The Library's Course Reserve service provides no-cost access to course material, potentially reducing the financial burden for students. Instructors are encouraged to utilize course reserve for both required and supplemental materials.
Course materials are held on reserve at the Library's Circulation Desk for the semester. During the semester students may borrow materials for limited time periods as determined by the instructor. Both library and instructor-owned materials may be placed on course reserve. All items are removed from course reserve at the end of the semester. Instructor-supplied material will be returned through campus mail, unless other arrangements are made.
Instructors are encouraged to use their Canvas course site to share online content (ebooks, articles, etc.) with their students. Library staff are available to assist with any copyright or access concerns. Email ill@mtu.edu for assistance.
